Source selection
We prioritize primary math, pricing, and probability concepts. Examples are chosen to explain methodology, not to market a bookmaker or a betting outcome.
Formula checks
Calculator logic is checked against manual calculations and edge cases. When a simplified model has limits, we say so clearly in the surrounding guide copy.
Corrections
If a factual, copy, or calculation error is reported, we review it and update the affected page. Material updates are reflected in the page content and metadata where relevant.
Editorial principles
- We write for readers who want to understand the numbers, not just copy a conclusion.
- We avoid sensational claims such as “guaranteed profit,” “safe win,” or “sure lock.”
- When a model depends on assumptions, sample size, or imperfect inputs, we state that plainly.
- Calculator pages should explain what the output means, what it does not mean, and when to be careful.
- Guides are revised when a better explanation, example, or correction becomes available.
